Microfracture cartilage repair is performed&nbsp;by creating tiny fractures in the underlying bone of an OCD lesion using Chondro Picks. The resulting blood clot initiates the development of fibrocartilage, which often will fill the defect site.

Gluteus medius tendons are sometimes referred to as the “rotator cuff of the hip.” Partial and full-thickness tears can be repaired in an open or endoscopic fashion with techniques similar to those used in shoulder surgery.
