Arthrex’s autoclavable arthroscopes are designed and optimized for the SynergyUHD4 camera system to provide superb image quality, as well as robust durability.
The scopes produce superior clinical imagery with a few key features:

The arthroscope durability is ensured by construction using multiple hermetic glass to metal seals tested to withstand thousands of autoclave cycles.
Arthrex continues to push the industry by developing the world’s first 4 mm 4K arthroscope in addition to the world’s first 4.8 mm version previously released. Both products are available in eye-coupler and C-Mount options. Arthrex is the leader in 4K technology and was the first company in the world to introduce the 4K 10 mm and 5.5 mm endoscopes. Arthrex continues to push technology with the introduction of 4K 4 mm arthroscope, which improves resolution and clarity overall.*
The use of 4.8 mm 4K arthroscopes, with the SynergyUHD4 4K imaging platform, produces a 59% increase* in optical performance compared to the 4 mm HD scope with a 1080p system.
The arthroscopes feature a quick-connect interface with the sheaths, providing the user with ease-of-use and a secure connection.
The eye-coupler and C-Mount arthroscopes are available in numerous diameters to fit multiple needs.

Synergy Arthroscopes

Arthrex's Synergy Hip Arthroscopes and Sheath System feature several benefits. The scopes are available in both eye-coupler and C-mount options. The scopes have a 3.5 mm outer diameter (OD) compared to an industry standard 4 mm. This allows the high-flow sheath to have an OD of 5.2 mm versus the typical 6 mm sheath. Decreasing the OD provides more room to maneuver within the hip. The tapered tip of the sheath aids in gaining access into the hip joint, along with the cannulated obturator. The working length of the hip scopes are 202 mm and 204 mm for the 30° and 70° respectively. This extended length allows full access into the majority of patients without the need to use the typical competitive extended length scope (300 mm). The eye-coupler design is compatible with the StarFish™ scope rotation attachment.

Procedure

Under both fluoroscopic and direct visualization, hip joint access can be facilitated using the spinal needles and guide wires included in the Hip Arthroscopy Disposable Kits as well as the instrumentation included in the Hip Arthroscope System Set.
