The Femoral Nail System is used for intramedullary fixation for fractures of the femur. The system contains unique screw configurations for both antegrade and retrograde nailing. This combination of versatility and diversity offers surgeons comprehensive solutions for managing femoral fractures.
Antegrade Nail Features:
<ul>
 <li>Use for trochanteric entry, it can target up to 3 proximal screw holes at the same time</li>
 <li>Threaded proximal screw holes helps prevent screw backout</li>
 <li>Provides up to 8 mm of compression at the level of the oblong hole1</li>
</ul>
Retrograde Nail Features:
<ul>
 <li>Four threaded distal screw holes helps prevent screw backout</li>
 <li>Provides up to 7 mm of compression at the level of the oblong hole1</li>
 <li>Screws targeted into the posterior condyles provide additional fixation</li>
 <li>Threaded nut and washer system provides compression across an intra-articular break</li>
